Happy Post Thanksgiving!!
I hope everyone supported at least someone you knew yesterday during Cyber Monday and/or on Saturday for Small Business Saturday. If you did, THANK YOU! If not, thanks for all the encouraging words, likes/ shares on our posts, follows, etc., as it, also, goes a long way in encouraging us and brings attention to our work, as well.
I tried to do my part in supporting Small Businesses this weekend and shopped yesterday online for Cyber Monday. Speaking of, my new business cards should be in soon. I purchased a card with an emblem of a dragonfly. I love the meaning bestowed upon the dragonfly; one of my favourites is a Bible scripture.
Hebrews 11:1 "Faith is the assured expectation of what is hoped for, the evident demonstration of realities that are not seen." (I created the picture below via #Colorify.
I, also, applied for my SRAJD (Self Representing Artist Jewelry Designer) Number, sent in my annual membership fee, emailed the required pictures of my jewelry design's; so now, I await my confirmation email. This is very exciting for me, as it makes everything that much more real. When I became chronically ill and had to abandon my jewelry yrs ago, I was afraid I'd never get back to this part of my life. That's where my wonderful support system of family and friends, especially my wonderful husband, has given me the encouragement I needed to get back up and move forward when things were crumbling around me. I have to give God his tremendous share of credit, as well, for giving me faith and light to help me get back to where I am today. My fabulous friends in the jewelry community, some of who have become such mentors, who are always offering inspiration, and cheering me on to take that next leap. I'm starting to fly from my nest again and it feels awesome!! :^D
