Good Tidings In Jewelry Land!!
Wow! Can you believe it's almost Christmas?? Things have been busy in a good way with my jewelry! I received my Business Cards; I was accepted into the SRAJD ... Self Representing Artist in Jewelry Design, along with being given my membership #4125. (0:
Then a few days later I was talking to a friend about Paying It Forward" as another wonderful friend had done to me a few months earlier in the year. I was told of a very sick young lady who is going to be going thru a very serious heart surgery (her second) over the holidays and had just been diagnosed with a rapidly progressive autoimmune arthritic disease that's already given cause for her to need a wheelchair. This prompted me into making a "Heart of Courage" necklace to donate in a sales auction online for the first time. In doing so, a lovely lady, one of the Administrators of the group hosting the Charity Auction, invited me to sale long term in the Facebook group page called, In The Mix! Artists Combined! So, I jumped off the ledge, accepted the generous invitation, but have yet to post anything since the auction. I've got some things ready to list for sale; but many are Christmas themed, making it too late for shipping, though SOME designs can be worn throughout the winter. Here's a pic of the Auction piece that sold ... the focal lampwork heart is by Susan Kennedy, SRA (SueBeads.com); other Lampwork beads by Lisa McQuerry, SRA (Ebay ID: SMBLUZ, https://www.facebook.com/Lisa.McQuerry); Swirly Lampwork spacer beads at bottom by Susan from Lil-Glass-Shack. (sorry, I can't remember her last name, but will find it and post it); Silk Sari Ribbon by JamnGlass (Etsy); Woolly Wire: Ellen Thomas *(Etsy Shop now closed ... if anyone knows her new business locale, please let me know. Thanks!)*
The auction was a big success and hopefully it will help ease the financial burden for this family and help them have a much better Christmas!♡♡♡
P.S. I've got to learn how to do links with blogging! /0:
